The View

I don't have a super-great view from the office - but here's a little description of what I see from my desk :-)

Skyscrapers and the construction drone,
The hustle, bustle, and traffic,
Endless lego-like tower of buildings,
Shape up lower Manhattan.

And then, in between those tall, rigid, lifeless towers,
The Hudson embraces the island.
Calm, serene, peaceful,
The Lady Liberty looks at us with disdain.
